Would you like to try out pinup photography? In that case, one of my workshops could help get you started.
Every now and then I organize workshops in pinup photography. I aim to keep it simple and not too time consuming. I normally restrict the number of participants to four, to make sure everybody get the help they need and enough time to shoot.
A typical workshop will start with a short introduction to my take on the pinup genre. I'll show you the work of the artists that inspired me, and let you in on the basics you need to have in place before shooting.
I'll explain my «go to» light setup for pinup photography, share my settings and all my secrets.
Next we will go into the studio and meet the model. I'll explain my «go to» light setup for pinup photography, share my settings and all my secrets. I'll shoot a few frames to let you see how I work with the model, and then it's your turn to shoot – under my guidance.
In most workshops we shoot two different scenes and many different poses to get variety in the images you bring back home.
We will round up with a 10-15 minute edit in Lightroom. I'll go through my basic editing and share my little tips and tricks. Nothing complicated, even if you're new to Lightroom, you'll probably remember the most of it without taking notes.
